My recent stay with a couple of close friends was nothing short of delightful-especially after a long drive where we appreciated the friendly welcome and the laid-back atmosphere. The highlight for me was the delightful breakfast buffet that fueled our adventures exploring nearby wonders like the breathtaking Godafoss Waterfall, just a 25-minute drive away. We particularly enjoyed the simple yet cozy rooms in the annex building, featuring private bathrooms that made our stay comfortable. After a day of exploring, we indulged in the hotel's à la carte dinner options at the on-site restaurant, where the atmosphere and hearty portions made for an excellent evening wind-down. If you're seeking a peaceful retreat away from the tourist hustle, Kidagil is a gem that I highly recommend for those wanting to experience Iceland's raw beauty.
